I’m Allowed to Change My Mind

You are not trapped in the version of yourself you used to be.
Not the girl who stayed silent. Not the woman who gave too much. Not the person who tolerated what hurt just to keep the peace.

You’re allowed to want different things now. You’re allowed to ask for what you couldn’t before. You’re allowed to grow, shift, outgrow, return, pause, start over, and say, “Actually, I feel differently now.”

Naturalism tells us life is movement. Nothing in nature stays the same forever—not rivers, not seasons, not bodies, not minds. So why should you?

Changing your mind isn’t weakness. It’s wisdom. It means you’re learning. It means you’re awake to new information, to your own evolving needs, to what your body and mind are asking for today, not just yesterday.

Maybe you no longer want to explain yourself to certain people.
Maybe you don’t believe what you used to.
Maybe you want more space, or more softness, or more truth.
You can change your mind.

Say this to yourself today:
“I am not stuck. I’m allowed to grow. I’m allowed to change my mind.”

Give yourself that freedom. You’re not a fixed idea. You’re a living, thinking, adapting human being. Let that be graceful.
