There’s something gentle and grounding about remembering that nothing stays the same—not even our money needs. Just like the seasons, life moves in cycles. Some seasons ask me to stretch and grow, to invest, to build. Others ask me to slow down, rest, recover. Neither is wrong. Both are natural.
My financial needs change as my life changes. Sometimes I need to spend more—on family, on health, on starting something new. Sometimes I need to pull back, save more, simplify. It doesn’t mean I’m failing or losing control. It means I’m alive and responsive, like any living thing that adapts with its environment.
There’s freedom in letting go of fear. Fear of not having enough. Fear of not doing it “right.” When I trust that I can adjust—breathe with the ebb and flow—I don’t panic. I pause, I observe, I respond with care.
I’m not rigid. I’m resilient. I learn from what each season brings and let those lessons guide me forward. Adaptation isn’t weakness—it’s wisdom.
