You don’t need anyone’s approval to take up space in this life.
Not emotional space. Not physical space. Not mental, creative, or spiritual space. You are already here—and that means you already belong.
Sometimes, especially if you’ve been dismissed, ignored, or taught to stay small, you start to feel like your presence is too loud. Like your needs are a burden. Like your opinions are inconvenient. So you shrink. You apologize. You wait for some unspoken green light that says, “Okay, now you’re allowed to be whole.”
But here’s the truth: your existence doesn’t need to be earned. You don’t need to be softer, quieter, more agreeable, or more “put together” to deserve full participation in your own life.
You don’t need to be more healed, more kind, more forgiving, more spiritual, more successful, more anything to simply exist as you are, right now.
Say this to yourself today:
“I don’t need permission to be here, to speak, to feel, to live fully.”
You are not here to ask for a seat—you are the whole table.
